Mission Statement | Project62 in a Nutshell | Getting Involved | Join Project62!
Project62 has had a pretty rough history. It first started out as a website I created for a class I took at Temescal Canyon High School in California. Eventually, it progressed into a hosting website, but that didn't really work out. At the time, Project62 had no purpose. It was just a name. But then something interesting happened...
Being a Christian all my life, and a web-designer for about half of it, I started playing around with the idea of digital ministry. Yet, I still didn't have much of a focus. A year or two went by, I purchased project62.com, and God spoke to me again. There are tons of ministry-oriented websites all around the internet, and generally, more often than not, are someone's best attempt at the call given to them by God. The truth is, not all of us are ministry "professionals" (for lack of a better term). Especially when it comes to digital ministry. But that's where Project62 comes in.
It took some time, but God has worked in my life personally and has taught me how to sacrifice my time and talents into building a community where we can come together and support each other in our ministries.
Whether it be seeking the technical expertise for building a modern church website, or the guidance and experience of a veteran in digital ministry, Project62 has something for everyone. Feel free to use the resources we have to offer. The goal of this website is to make the impossible possible through the collaboration, prayer, and support of fellow Christians. We all know that starting or maintaining a digital ministry takes a tremendous amount of effort. Why not let God work through this website and see how Project62 can support you?
And if you are an experienced minister, what better a place to train, support, and encourage someone else than through a web ministry created solely for that purpose? Project62 is a community focused on serving Christ, and we will strive to do that in any way possible.
Even if you aren't currently involved in a ministry, and aren't sure about your calling, I encourage you to still get involved in Project62. One of the greatest ministries comes in the form of prayer and encouragement. And there is always a need for prayer and encouragement.
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that God is going to use Project62 to touch someone's life, or to bless their ministry, or to create new ministries. I say that confidently because through this website, my life has already been impacted. God has blessed Project62's ministry, and I pray that He continues to bless it. My question to you is, are you willing to answer His call? I encourage you to take advantage of this website.
May God bless our efforts here at Project62, and may He use this website to impact the internet for Christ. Amen.
